Product Description

Behold a splendid 1.5-inch brass coin graced with the ComSubRon 14 crest. This squadron, established on July 1, 1958, made its mark by arriving at FBM Refit Site 1 in Holy Loch on March 3, 1961, and continued its legacy until June 1992. On the reverse, you'll discover the captivating Polaris Tartan, also known as the 'Polaris Military.' This design, crafted in 1964 by Alexander MacIntyre of Strone, was intended for the officers and personnel of the American Submarine base nestled in the picturesque Holy Loch, set against the backdrop of Scotland's map. This coin is a tribute to a remarkable era.

These coins are designed and only available from me.

Would make an excellent addition to your collection or for your favorite sailor!

OPTIONAL: Our Air-Tite acrylic cases provide the ultimate long-term protection for your coin. They are made of crystal clear, hard Acrylic and will never yellow over time; the foam rings are made of Volara and both are free of PVC that could damage your coin.
